What’s in store for you 7.07.09
{Tuesday am, 7.07.09} If you were in Peonies over Fourth of July weekend, it might have been because you saw the feature story about us in the Shoreline Times. We are not ashamed to admit: if we read the story, we would want to shop at Peonies, too. One customer confided Peonies was the “talk of the beach.” We hope it was in a good way! Speaking of customers, we love, love feedback: Noemi, thanks for your sweet note on our post yesterday.
Thank you to all the women who visited Peonies this weekend—come back soon to see the new items we put on the floor last night. Below are just a few highlights. Keep scrolling and you’ll see some of the items from the previous week: gorgeous stuff. And remember, beautiful blooms don’t last long! Have an incredible week.

Think it might work with Consignor No. 23’s swooshy skirt?

(It’s hanging on the left wall as you enter the Peonies!)
P.S. We marked down a few items last night. See if you can find them. Hint: summer jackets.
Beautiful blooms don’t last long.

Hi ladies!
I also saw the article in the paper last week and cannot wait to pop in this Saturday — my interest is totally piqued!!
I’m loving the silver rope necklace — could I ask the price in case it might still be there this weekend?
One more quick question — do you have any great bags in the shop? (I LOOOOOOVE bags)
Thanks in advance and I can’t wait to come in!
Loreen
Hi Loreen,
Great to hear from you. We LOVE the silver rope necklace, too. The one with the cool clasp, right? We do not normally quote prices we’ll make an exception this once. The necklace is $26; it truly, truly looks like sterling but we were unable to locate any identifying marks. A steal, right? Yes, we have a lot of bags in the shop—you really have to stop in the store frequently as they come and go quickly. Let’s see, we have Michael Kors, Stuart Weitzman, Gucci, Coach (actually, we have a few Coach bags, including a green suede bag with white leather trim, so very sweet), and two fabulous Cole Haan suede bags (one navy, one brown) and an amazing leopard bag from Kate Spade. Sweeeet! Did I mention the Ghurka? Oh and there’s a yummy black suede Ferragamo. Come see us soon, Loreen!
Warmly,
Pam
Handbags — yes!! Take pics of those and send them to me. Do you sell anything online?! Can’t wait to see the shop!!
Hey Cindy,
OK, you’ve got a deal. We’ll do a special post on handbags—look for it next week. Sound good? Nope, we don’t sell online presently. We’re wholly focused on creating awareness for the boutique, obtaining highest quality merchandise, and ensuring a really wonderful shopping experience for our customers. Selling online is a good possibility—after we make sure we’re doing everything else really really really well! Thanks so much for writing, Cindy. Hope to see you in the store soon!
Warmly,
Pam
