Essex Holiday House Tour

holiday1Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? Ahhhhh, don’t you just love carols, the scent of holiday baking wafting through the house, and warmth of homes uniquely decorated for the holidays? We do, and so we are marking our calendars right this very minute for the Essex Holiday House Tour. If you have been before, you know how great it is. If you haven’t, it’s a treat to see six amazing Essex homes, including the Essex Historical Society’s Pratt House, Hill’s Academy and the Connecticut River Museum all uniquely dolled up for the ho- ho- ho- lidays!

By participating, you are also doing something good: this event is an annual fundraiser for The Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut given by The Essex River Valley Auxiliary — an organization whose staff and volunteers assist children and families-at-risk locally with programs that deal with the prevention of child abuse, the treatment of family violence, teen pregnancy, children’s health care, childcare, parent education and children’s mental health.

The Essex Holiday House tour takes place on Saturday, December 12, 2009, from 10am to 4pm. See all events CFA events here. Ticket info here. We can’t wait to see you there.
