“Sale” and “bling.” This week, we’ve got plenty of both (and tons of new clothes we didn’t show you last week). This is the official start of Peonies’ outrageous winter clearout, with full racks of clothes marked at $5, $10, $25! Some of the prices are so crazy you’d be insane not to come in! You must see the killer Lalique deco silver ring (stunning ring, incredibly awful photo below) and about a dozen never-worn pieces by Silpada. As always, you’ll see Lifesavers® on the counter. They are not for sale; we happily request each customer take at least one Wint-o-green® to sweeten their visit to Peonies. Lol. Happy shopping, happy week. ~ Pam and Laurel

I live in the Farmington Valley so it’s hard to get to the shop by the time you close, even if you’re open late on Thursdays (which is great, btw). Do you do private parties? I was thinking I’d like to get together with some of my girlfriends and come down for a girl’s night. Is that what Pinot & Peonies is? I haven’t seen an invite but I signed up. Did I miss something?

Hey Kris, you are up early this morning! Yikes. It’s funny that you asked about private parties, we have been thinking of doing them. We would absolutely consider opening late if you were to guarantee 6-8 friends/guests. So much fun to shop with girlfriends! Would a Thursday night work? We could maybe do 7-9pm? Or 5-7 another night? Let’s connect via email or phone. Maybe our private parties should be called Pinot & Peonies??!! Good question about those…we had this grandiose plan that we’d have wine parties at least once a month; truth is we’ve been so busy since we opened we haven’t done ONE so no, you didn’t miss your invitation. : )
