Make a suit your VB jacket

You know, we have been thinking—when you shop consignment, part of the fun is re-imagining how to wear something. For example, say you are just not into “suits”. Gotcha, work is a little more lax than it used to be. But hello, that means you might walk right past the killer Louis Féraud suit at Peonies, with not even a passing glance to the incredible button detail, bound buttonholes or stitching on this garment.

We consider this to be a Possible Shopping Error.
Peonistas, consider this, that for the price of the suit—the pre-loved jacket alone is a steal.
What would you do with skirt? Wear it as a separate. Not into skirts? OK, here’s the inherent beauty of consigning: buy the suit, keep the jacket, consign the skirt. Or, donate the skirt and take the tax deduction. Endless options. A “suit” just could be your Very Best Jacket. EVER.
