Christmas is for kids

Saturday, November 21st, 2009

Christmas is for kidsWon’t you help 217 kids in Essex and Old Saybrook celebrate Christmas?

Social Services in Essex have identified 131 children in Essex and 86 children in Old Saybrook (and many families from both towns) who need help this Christmas. A dedicated team of people have come together to make the holidays of these children and families a little merrier through a fundraising event.

Christmas is for Kids will be held at the Otter Cove Restaurant on Monday, December 7, 6-9 pm, featuring food, drink and the wonderful Russ Becker Trio. Corporate sponsorships are available. Tickets to the event ($50) are available at Peonies, the designer resale shop in Centerbrook.  Or, you can send a check to the Otter Cove Restaurant, 99 Essex Road, Old Saybrook, CT 06475. Checks can be made payable to the Old Saybrook Youth and Family Foundation.

All proceeds go to Old Saybrook Youth & Family Services Foundation and Essex Social Services.
